History

Voximal was created in 2003 by Borja SIXTO (an OpenVXI V3.4 integration with the Asterisk PBX). It had been proposed by the i6net spanish company under the VXI* name (VoiceXML Interpreter for Asterisk). The VXi* software is now called Voximal (VoXiMaL) since 2016.

Voximal® is a trademark deposited to the INPI.
